GARDNER AUCTIONS INC. was founded in 1922 in London, Ontario by the
late George R. Gardner who conducted auctions of household furnishings,
antiques and real estate. George R.'s grandson, the late G. Paul Gardner
purchased the business in 1975 and gradually changed the direction of
the business to one of the major commercial and industrial auction companys
operating in Canada and the eastern half of the United States.
The tradition of fine antiques, art and general household furnishings
as well as farm auctions is carried on by Paul's daughter, Tiffany. Tiffany
is a two time ladies world champion auctioneer. Tiffany is a fourth generation
family auctioneer.
Commercial and industrial auctions are conducted throughout Ontario and
Alberta in Canada by our qualified staff with four licensed auctioneers
on staff. We also maintain qualified appraisers with knowledge in all
areas of commercial and industrial equipment who conduct over 600 appraisal
reports annually for chartered banks, insolvency practitioners, accounting
firms, all levels of government and industrial clients. Our appraisals
are recognized as highly accurate and professional and are used for financing
purposes, realization on assets through various channels, leasing and
division, etc. |
